Türkiye has strongly condemned the killing of four Palestinians, blaming "settler terrorists encouraged by the Netanyahu government." The Foreign Ministry urged the international community to hold perpetrators accountable.

Türkiye has strongly condemned the killing of four Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, blaming what it described as "settler terrorists" and "Israel's ongoing genocide policy." The Foreign Ministry said the attack was carried out by occupiers "encouraged by the Netanyahu government."

Escalating Violence

The ministry called on the international community to ensure that "the crimes committed by settler terrorists who seize Palestinian land and their supporters do not go unpunished." The condemnation came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz ordered a "wide-scale military operation" in Palestinian villages following a shooting near an illegal settlement.

Rising Death Toll

Violence in the occupied West Bank has escalated since Israel's offensive on Gaza began in October 2023. According to Palestinian figures, at least 1,182 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 24,000 arrested in Israeli military raids and settler attacks during that period.
