Mohamed Salah arrives in Turkiye ahead of Trabzonspor transfer

Mohamed Salah has arrived in Istanbul as he prepares for an expected transfer to Trabzonspor. The former Liverpool forward was greeted by hundreds of supporters at Atatürk Airport, where he appeared in the club's burgundy and blue colours and joined fans in a traditional chant.

Trabzonspor confirmed that talks with the 34-year-old are underway, with club chairman Ertuğrul Doğan saying a free-transfer deal was expected to be completed in Trabzon. "Trabzon, are you ready? I can hear you. See you very soon," Salah said in a video released by the club. He was scheduled to undergo a medical before travelling to the Black Sea city.
