Ukrainian drones spark fire at Wildberries warehouse in Russia

Wildberries and Russ (RVB) said on Monday that a Ukrainian drone attack overnight ignited a fire at its logistics center in Russia's Vladimir region, injuring one employee and forcing the evacuation of staff from the facility.

Evacuation and firefighting operations

The merged entity operating Russia's largest online marketplace stated in a release that emergency protocols were activated to evacuate personnel while fire crews responded to the blaze. "The logistics facility in the Vladimir region caught fire as a result of the attack. People have been evacuated. Fire crews are working at the scene. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," the company said, adding that incoming deliveries and customer orders were being processed through alternative facilities to avoid disruption.

The strike marks the latest in a series of drone attacks targeting Wildberries logistics centers in recent weeks as Ukrainian forces continue to hit commercial assets deep inside Russian territory. The company confirmed it had rerouted logistics operations through other facilities to maintain service continuity amid the ongoing hostilities.

Moscow claims maritime strikes

Russia's Defense Ministry said its forces conducted overnight drone strikes on Ukrainian transport infrastructure used by the military. The ministry claimed the attacks hit three cargo vessels in the Black Sea and a vessel in the port of Mykolaiv delivering supplies for Ukrainian armed forces, though Kyiv did not immediately comment on the assertions and independent verification remains challenging.
