Türkiye opens fan zone in Los Angeles for World Cup

Türkiye’s Communications Directorate has launched the Turkish Vibe Zone in Los Angeles, a 3,050‑square‑metre fan and media area. Open until June 26, it will screen Türkiye’s matches, host media activities, and showcase Turkish culture through music, food, and brand experiences.
Türkiye’s Communications Directorate has set up a fan and media experience area in Los Angeles as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Turkish Vibe Zone, launched under the slogan “Türkiye is Here,” is located at Gloria Molina Grand Park and spans approximately 3,050 square metres. The area will remain open until June 26 — just after the Türkiye vs US match at Los Angeles Stadium — and will host match screenings, cultural events, and media activities.
Fan experience and media hub
The zone features a giant screen for live broadcasts, a content studio, a photo booth, a culinary area offering Turkish cuisine, protocol reception facilities, interview areas, a press centre, and sponsor stands. Concerts and visits by well‑known figures are also planned. The press centre will serve as a coordination point for Turkish journalists covering the World Cup, allowing media workers to conduct interviews and film on site. Before facing the US, Türkiye will also play Paraguay in San Francisco on June 19.
Global promotion
The initiative aims to promote Türkiye’s culture, tourism, and cuisine to international audiences during one of the world’s most watched sporting events. Türkiye, drawn in Group D alongside Australia, Paraguay, and the US, will open its campaign on June 13. The fan zone is part of a broader strategy to strengthen Türkiye’s global brand through sports diplomacy. Similar zones have been set up in previous major tournaments, but the Los Angeles operation is the largest to date.
