First high-level US-Iran meeting yields ‘encouraging progress,’ Pakistani PM says
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the first high-level US-Iran committee meeting in Switzerland made “encouraging progress,” including agreement on a 60-day roadmap to a final deal, establishment of a political oversight committee, and commencement of technical talks. Pakistan will continue its mediating role, and Qatar was thanked for its critical support.
