Adorable baby animals of Eskişehir Zoo
Cameroon sheep and lambs are seen at Eskişehir Zoo in Eskişehir, Turkey on January 04, 2018. A total of 70 babies were born from 15 different species at Eskişehir zoo in 2017. Animals here are fed following special diets depending on the season. According to the authorities, 30 spur-thighed tortoises, 7 Cameroon sheep, 5 wallabies, 4 chinchillas, 4 ostriches, 3 meerkats, 3 deers, 2 gazelles, 2 ring-tailed lemurs, 2 Grivet monkeys, 2 capybaras, 2 kinkajous, 2 blue amp; yellow Macaw parrotts, 1 Guineafowl and 1 antilope were born in 2017.

Young Turkish artist creates metal sculptures
Cem Özkan, a young artist from Turkey, is a junior at Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts' sculpture department in Turkey's Eskişehir. He creates his sculptures from metal that he finds at scrap yards. He sculpts different kinds of ships, warriors, astronaut and horse figures.

Heavy snowfall and sub-zero temperatures have paralyzed life in many provinces the of eastern Turkey. As many as 1,500 roads were closed due to the inclement weather as snowfall reached up to 115 centimeters in Muş province, 92 centimeters in Ağrı, 55 centimeters in Erzurum, 42 centimeters in Kars, 32 centimeters in Ardahan, 19 centimeters in Iğdır and 6 centimeters in Erzincan. Eastern Turkey is currently under the impact of a cold front, with snowfall expected to last until the end of Wednesday.
