Seven Palestinians injured in attacks across occupied West Bank

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said seven Palestinians were injured on Saturday in separate attacks by Israeli forces and occupiers in the southern occupied West Bank, with the incidents coming as violence in the territory continues to escalate amid the ongoing war in Gaza.
Attacks in Hebron and Bethlehem
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews transported a young man to hospital on Saturday after he was shot with live ammunition in the abdomen and hand during an Israeli military raid on the town of Beit Ummar in Hebron governorate. Medical teams also treated two Palestinians who sustained live fire injuries during an Israeli army raid on the town of Beit Fajjar in Bethlehem governorate, the organization added.
Separately, four Palestinians were injured after Israeli occupiers assaulted residents in the Wadi al-Rakhim area of Masafer Yatta in Hebron governorate, using beatings and pepper spray, according to local sources. The attacks occurred as Israeli forces continued operations across the southern West Bank, with medical personnel responding to multiple casualty calls throughout the day.
Escalating violence
During April, occupiers carried out 540 attacks against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, according to a monthly report by the Palestinian Authority’s Commission against the Wall and Settlements. The figure reflects a sustained pattern of violence as Israeli military operations expand across the occupied territory alongside ongoing hostilities in the Gaza Strip.
